[Company News] Conducting a Special Training Session on Key Points of the Comprehensive Revision of the 2024 Company Law

To deeply analyze the impact of the new Company Law on private equity funds and investment & financing assets, enhance the effectiveness of law-based operations and management, and strengthen employees' awareness of legal principles and their legal literacy, Chongqing Environmental Protection Fund Company held a special training session on January 22, 2024, focusing on the key revisions of the 2024 Company Law. This initiative aimed to help all employees accurately grasp the content of the revised Company Law and understand its significant implications.
This training session features a special lecture delivered by Li Guoyi, Partner at King & Wood Mallesons (Chongqing) Law Firm in Shanghai. The session focuses on an in-depth interpretation of key provisions in the new Company Law, covering eight key areas: a comprehensive assessment of the revised Company Law, the new General Provisions of the Company Law, enhancements to the corporate establishment and exit mechanisms, specific regulations governing state-owned enterprises' organizational structures, strengthened safeguards for minority and medium-sized shareholders, transformative changes and broader implications of the company capital system, strategic design for adjusting corporate governance structures, and the duties and accountability obligations of controlling shareholders and management. Additionally, the training delves into critical topics such as the legal representative system, the validity of relevant corporate resolutions, the framework for protecting minority shareholder rights, shareholder contribution responsibilities, the authorized capital system in joint-stock companies, and director, supervisor, and senior executive (D&G) provisions. From the perspective of private equity investment funds, the session also offers valuable insights into fostering compliant business practices for enterprises. The content is highly practical and provides actionable guidance.
This training deepened employees' understanding and awareness of the company's governance standards and management requirements, enriched their knowledge base within their respective professional areas, and significantly enhanced the legal awareness and risk-management capabilities of all staff. It also provided crucial support to ensure that all future business operations are conducted in full compliance with the law.
