Langkun Bio General Manager Leng Faquan shared insights at the 2023 Shenzhen "Turning Waste into Magic" Public Tour Recap Ceremony.
Recently, the Shenzhen Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau, in collaboration with Shenzhen Evening News, held the 2023 Shenzhen "Turning Waste into Wonder" Public Tour Summary Ceremony, during which Langkun Group showcased its cutting-edge technologies and achievements in the field of biotechnology-based resource utilization.
Langkun Bio's General Manager, Leng Faquan, shared insights on the innovative process of leveraging biotechnology to transform waste into valuable resources, under the theme "Turning Waste into Treasure with Biotechnology—Empowering Shenzhen to Build a World-Class Bioenergy Superfactory." He emphasized, "Biotechnology is the most environmentally friendly, efficient, and carbon-reducing technology—it’s the essential path toward constructing a 'zero-waste city.'"
Langkun Group is a pioneer in China, leading the way in using bio-enzyme technology to convert waste crude oil into biodiesel, achieving a yield of up to 92%. The high-quality biodiesel produced by Langkun is exported to the EU in quantities accounting for 90% of its total output, enjoying robust domestic and international markets while continuously making significant contributions to global carbon reduction efforts.
In the future, Langkun Group will continue to leverage its core strengths in biotechnology, expanding its collection and processing capabilities to handle more organic solid waste and used cooking oils. We’ll build additional benchmark projects that are biotech-driven, environmentally sustainable, and digitally advanced—setting new global standards for world-class bioenergy superfactories designed according to 5A-level industrial tourism standards. Together, we’ll create cities with lower carbon footprints and a brighter, greener future for everyone!
