The signing ceremony for the establishment of the Ecological Environment Development Fund, jointly set up by Chongqing Environmental Protection Fund and Shandong Zibo JinKong Company, was successfully held.

On July 4, 2020, the signing ceremony for the establishment of the Ecological Environment Development Fund—a collaboration between Chongqing Environmental Protection Industry Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd. and Zibo Financial Holdings Co., Ltd. of Shandong Province—was held grandly in Zibo. The ceremony was chaired by Lu Binzuo, Deputy Secretary-General of the Zibo Municipal Government, and attended by Wang Kejie, Vice Mayor of Zibo; senior officials from the Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau and the Municipal Finance Bureau; Han Yong, Chairman of Chongqing Environmental Protection Industry Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd.; and other relevant representatives from participating departments.
The Zibo Ecological Environment Development Fund was jointly established through funding from Chongqing Environmental Protection Industry Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd. and Zibo Financial Holdings Co., Ltd., the fund management institution designated by the Zibo Municipal Government. This fund marks the first ecological environment development fund set up in Shandong Province, with an initial scale of 1 billion yuan, of which the first-phase contribution from both parties totals 100 million yuan. The establishment of this fund aims to innovate financing channels for Zibo's enterprises, fostering a favorable industrial and financial ecosystem that supports business growth, thereby accelerating Zibo's industrial transformation and upgrading, and ultimately driving high-quality economic development.
This collaboration marks the beginning of a partnership between the Chongqing Environmental Protection Fund and the Zibo Municipal Government of Shandong Province, signaling a new phase in the fund’s business expansion within Shandong Province. Moving forward, the Chongqing Environmental Protection Fund will uphold its corporate spirit of "pioneering innovation and striving for excellence," actively leveraging its strengths and adopting market-oriented approaches to seize the rapidly growing opportunities in the environmental industry—ultimately contributing to Zibo’s economic development and the improvement of residents’ living environments.
