On July 16, 2019, Yao Junqing, General Manager of Shanxi Meijin Energy Co., Ltd., along with Zheng Caixia, CFO; Zhang Peifu, Head of the Planning and Development Department; and Yang Xiao, Head of the Comprehensive Management Department— a total of four individuals—paid a visit to our company. They were warmly received by Han Yong, Chairman of Chongqing Environmental Protection Fund Co., Ltd., and Nie Min, Deputy General Manager, who engaged in business discussions with the delegation.

During the meeting, both sides provided brief introductions of their respective companies and engaged in thorough discussions and exchanges on future business collaborations, as well as investments in the environmental protection sector.

Shanxi Meijin Energy Co., Ltd. ("Meijin Energy") was established in 1992 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 1997 (stock code: 000723). The company primarily engages in the production and sale of coal and coke, leveraging its abundant reserves of coal and coalbed methane resources. It boasts a fully integrated "coal-coking-gas-chemicals" industrial chain and is one of the largest independent commercial coke production bases in China. Together with its parent company, Meijin Group, the company holds proven high-quality coal reserves totaling 3.5 billion tons, covering all coal types essential for coking. According to approvals from the National Development and Reform Commission, the company’s annual production capacity stands at 30.8 million tons. In 2017, the company produced 6.21 million tons of coke annually. As of December 31, 2017, the company’s total assets amounted to approximately RMB 13.818 billion, with net assets reaching about RMB 7.724 billion, employing a workforce of 5,486 people. In 2017, the company ranked 333rd among China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises and 195th among China’s Top 500 Private Manufacturing Companies.
