The first preparatory meeting of the Chongqing University Chongqing Alumni Association's Ecological Environment Branch was held at the Environmental Protection Fund Company.

To unite Chongqing University alumni working in environmental-related industries and those who have long been passionate about environmental conservation, enabling them to contribute even more significantly to ecological civilization building and supporting the development of Chongqing's environmental initiatives, Chongqing Environmental Fund Company has applied for and secured approval from the Chongqing University Alumni Association, subsequently taking the lead in establishing the Chongqing University Alumni Association Environmental Branch.
To accelerate the preparation and establishment of the Chongqing University Chongqing Alumni Association’s Ecology and Environment Branch, following the procedural guidelines for setting up alumni association branches at Chongqing University, Chongqing Environmental Protection Fund Co., Ltd. took the lead in organizing the first preparatory meeting for the branch on June 25, 2019, held at the 21st floor of JinXing Science & Technology Building. Attendees included Guo Hong, Executive President of the Chongqing University MBA/EMBA Alumni Association and Vice President/Secretary-General of the Chongqing Alumni Association; Liu Ying, Executive Secretary-General of the Chongqing University MBA program; Teng Jidong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chongqing University MBA Enterprise Alliance; Han Yong, Head of the Ecology and Environment Branch Preparatory Group; and over 10 representatives from member organizations involved in the preparatory efforts.
At the meeting, the Chongqing Environmental Protection Fund introduced the purpose of establishing the sub-association and provided an update on preparatory work. Attendees discussed the proposed structure for the environmental protection sub-association, its organizational charter, and other related topics, while also offering constructive feedback for revisions. Guo Hong, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Chongqing Alumni Association at Chongqing University, shared valuable insights into the association's founding process and operational experience.
Next, Chongqing Environmental Protection Fund Company will refine the preparatory work based on the feedback from attendees, ensuring everything is ready for the second preparatory meeting of the Chongqing University Chongqing Alumni Association’s Ecological Environment Branch, as well as the first member assembly and the inaugural meeting of its first board of directors.
