On December 23, 2016, the Chongqing Environmental Protection Industry Supply Chain Fund was successfully registered with the Administration for Industry and Commerce. The fund was jointly established by Chongqing Environmental Protection Industry Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd., Chongqing Environmental Protection Industry Equity Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership), and the Chongqing Branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co., Ltd., with a total fund size of approximately RMB 7 billion. It primarily focuses on making high-quality controlling investments in promising enterprises (or projects) within the environmental protection industry supply chain—specifically those involved in supply chain distribution platforms, upstream and downstream sectors, and related eco-friendly industries—aiming to drive the collaborative strategic development of the environmental protection sector.
