Investment Manager

1. Job Responsibilities

1. Project Development and Screening: Lead the identification, evaluation, and due diligence of equity investment opportunities in industries such as new energy, high-end manufacturing, and synthetic biology, independently preparing comprehensive investment analysis reports.

2. Transaction Execution: Responsible for transaction structure design, business negotiations, agreement drafting, and reporting to the Investment Decision Committee, ensuring efficient project implementation.

3. Post-Investment Management: Monitor the operations of invested projects, provide value-added services (such as resource alignment and strategic optimization), and develop exit strategies.

4. Fundraising Support: Assist with fundraising efforts, participate in investor roadshows, and maintain relationships with LPs.

II. Job Requirements

1. Educational Background:

Master’s degree or higher required. Candidates should have a background in science-related fields such as mathematics, chemistry, physics, and life sciences; engineering disciplines like mechanical, electrical, energy, and materials science; or information science specialties including automation, optoelectronic information, electronic information, communication engineering, and computer science.

Priority will be given to candidates with the above-mentioned professional background and a combined business/management expertise. Additionally, candidates with the above-mentioned professional background who also hold CPA, CFA, or a legal professional qualification will be given further preference.

2. Work Experience:

More than 3 years of experience in PE/VC or industrial investment, with hands-on leadership of the entire project investment process; or at least 3 years of relevant technical experience in a corporate role aligned with the above-mentioned professional requirements, coupled with a solid understanding of the industry.

Priority will be given to those with abundant resources in the new energy vehicle industry chain, robotics industry chain, high-end equipment sector, and synthetic biology industry chain.

3. Core Competencies:

Proficient in financial modeling (including DCF, LBO, and IRR calculations) and industry research (such as market size and competitive landscape analysis), with expertise in data scraping from platforms like WIND, Qichacha, and various other websites and research reports.

Capable of independently dismantling technical barriers and equipped with patent map analysis skills;

Familiar with the legal framework of equity investments and equipped with independent due-diligence capabilities (covering financial, legal, and business aspects).

Excellent report-writing and presentation skills for roadshows;

4. Soft Requirements:

Strong stress tolerance and comfortable with frequent business travel (due diligence/post-investment follow-ups);

Possessing an awareness of resource integration (project sources, LPs, and industry partners);

Under 33 years old.
