Company Overview
Chongqing Environmental Protection Industry Private Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd. was established in October 2015, jointly initiated by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Chongqing Municipal Government. It is the first private equity fund manager within China's environmental protection sector to be registered with the Asset Management Association of China.

Milestone
In June 2015, the official unveiling took place; in October 2015, the company was officially registered and established; by July 2016, we obtained the fund manager license; XXX became an Observer Member of the Asset Management Association; and in 2021, we launched and issued a total of 16 funds throughout the year, with 11 of them successfully registered. Notably, our fund issuance volume surged to the top position among equity-focused managers in the Southwest region.

Core Team
Han Yong (Chairman): Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Chongqing University, Senior Engineer, and Chairman of the Chongqing Western Climate Investment and Financing Industry Promotion Center. He has previously been awarded the "First-Class Award for Scientific and Technological Progress" by the Ministry of Education.
He has held various leadership positions, including Director of multiple divisions within Chongqing’s Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau—such as the Division of Environmental Management for Construction Projects, the Division of Nuclear Safety, the Division of Pollution Prevention, the Division of Water Environment Protection, the Division of Total Volume Control, the Division of Environmental Impact Assessment, and the Division of Air Pollution Control—as well as Deputy Chief Engineer. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in reviewing and approving environmental impact assessments and overseeing the completion acceptance of hundreds of nationally significant projects, including the Three Gorges Project, Chongqing BASF, and the Chongqing–Guizhou High-Speed Railway.
